This attribute specifies which ranges of the METER, if any, will cause an alarm to be generated when the value of the VALUE attribute enters those ranges.
For example, setting this attribute to "LOW,HIGH" will cause an alarm to be generated any time the VALUE attribute moves out of the MIDDLE range. What occurs when an alarm is triggered depends on the value of theALARM TYPE attribute.
