HTBasic supports regular files as well as typed files. HTBasic file types are LIF ASCII, BDAT, BIN and PROG. All other files are regular files. In a CAT listing, the file type column is either blank or indicates the OS. Unlike typed files, no special header or other embedded information is placed in the file.
