Hi guys,
I’m still using ver 9.2 and thinking of upgrading. I mostly use HTB on Win XP machines, but do some writing/debugging on Win 7 or 10.HTB 2021 says it is for Win 7 thru 11.
What was the last version whose features are supported across XP thru 10?

Version 10.1 is the latest version to run on Windows XP. You can download a trial version to try out before purchasing.
OK, thanks. But does it also work properly on Win 7 and 10? 9.2 has serious display issues with Win7.
Also, has the large block data transfer via DDE liimitation been fixed with 10.1? I have to use a Techsoft binary to get it to work with 9.2 .
Yes, it does work with Win 7 and 10. Not sure about your issue with the “DDE limitation”, but as noted, you can find out with the trial version.
Hi guys,
I have installed the PCI 82350C card, but, it can’t communicate with the equipment, through the HtBasic.
The configuration of the Agilente Expert is correct and detects the equipment,does not report any errors.
Maybe the version of HPIBS is outdated for this board.
I have HtBasic v9.0 installed and the operating system is Win XP Professional SP3.
Can you help solve this difficulty?

The exe file is Hpbasic.exe 06/08/2002, I think it is version 6.3, but I’m not sure, not version 9.

thanks for the quick help. I tested with version 10 Demo and it works fine.
One more question, which is the better option to buy the HTBasic V10 or the HTbasic 2021 and upgrade to Win7?
