I often save programs under development by using SAVE AS and incrementing the a suffix number at the end of my program’s name.
When I open SAVE AS and select the current program name, then edit its version number and save it, thus creating a new file with an incremented version number, I am asked if I want to over-write the file whose “donor” name I selected as the basis for new file.

EG – I am working on Program 1.BAS. I open SAVE AS and select Program 1.BAS. Then I edit the file name to Program 2.BAS and save. I then get the warning that I am over-writing Program 1.BAS, which I am not – the creation of the new file is performed correctly.

Is this a bug? Have other people come across it? Has it been fixed in versions post my version 10.1.2?

      Thank you.

Same “bug” with 10.1.3 HTBasic version

Generally I always use the old “RE-STORE” command for my program recordings 🙂
